• A 50% deposit is payable upon booking. The balance to be paid 14 days before delivery.

• We will provide china in a good, vintage condition with no chips or cracks but signs of age are part of its charm.

• We will provide an inventory to be signed upon delivery.

• You will recieve the china freshly washed and ready to use. Please lightly remove any food waste with a cloth before we collect; we will do the rest. Due to its fragile nature, our china must NOT go in the dishwasher or microwave. Upon completion of your event, all china must be packed away into the boxes provided and be ready for collection.

• We don't take a damage deposit but we know accidents can happen, therefore, please take the best possible care of our beautiful china and let us know of any damage as there will be a fee payable for any losses. This is as follows:

Silverware - £2 / item

Cup, saucer, sideplate, milk jug, sugar bowl, small dish - £5 / item

Cake stand, cake plates, sandwich plates - £10 / item

Teapot, teapot lids - £40 / item

If there is a breakage, the item MUST be kept and returned to us

• Any cancellation must be made via email. If within 14 days of the event date, the 50% booking deposit will not be returned.

• All items are hired entirely at the customers own risk. Details Vintage China will not be held responsible in the event of any injury or damage caused by the hired equipment during the hire period, regardless of the cause.

• Due to its delicate nature, we will deliver and collect the china to and from the venue on dates agreed with the customer. Usually we deliver on the day before and collect on the day after the event, however, we are flexible and are happy to work with you. 

• All items remain the property of Details Vintage China.
